The week winter that autumn has whitened my valley.
Over a thousand meters collapsed in the snow to the knee. The snow is layered above and below ice powder is very light. Come up with this snow (and without snow shoes ...) was very tiring. I have not seen much evidence of recent animal sign that the snow has moved the herds to areas less rigid.

a muffled silence reigned.
I stopped and I heard the woods: the north wind moved the branches slightly more 'tall who complained with an ominous rattle. A freezing mist rose from the north and has obscured the last light filtering through the low clouds.

The lake, the return was flat and the fog surrounding only the tops.
