In some parts of woods frost builds up every night, crystallizing the previous year.
Leaves and grass are covered with frost flowers white.
A few steps from these areas cold the sun can filter through the trees and the ice melts.
The result is a continuous alternation of icy white areas and areas illuminated by the sun, soft white, shimmering colors.
